Cold in Korea!
Me in 6 layers of clothing
I ended up in cold cold Korea in the dead of winter for my annual easter holiday. Admittedly Korea was definitely not my first choice, neither was it my 2nd or 3rd. It was more like my back-up plan location. But I have learned in life that the things you least expect can turn out really really well. And thats what happened in Korea, despite the cold weather I really had a very nice time with the tour we joined. All our meals which was included in our package was surprisingly excellent, it was definitely not your usual tourist food. We tasted a lot of special korean dishes that was beyond the usual korean bbq that we often order here, good thing we did a lot of walking around or else im sure I would've gained 5 pounds from all that lovely fod we had. We toured thru 2 theme parks, a folk village, 2 palaces, and had archery & taekwondo lessons. It was a mix of culture & fun and gave me a different perspective on Korea & its people.
